Here at GPS, we have a unique relationship that not many groups/clans can claim to have or keep for any length of time. Most of this success can be attributed to the leadership and dedication of our founders and senior members. I for one have been very happy here and proud to be a member of such a great group of people.

What we do believe in and what we would like to put forth for all to read is a set of guidelines, not rules, for all of us to follow. We want everyone here to have a pleasant and fun experience. We all need to understand that everyone will not always have a great game, but at the same time, we don’t want people frustrated when they log into our room. Most of this is pretty much common sense for the experienced gamer, and should be followed to some degree by all of us.

1. When you set up a room ask the other members in the room what map or game types they would like to play. Don't just assume everyone is going to want to play what you want to play.

2. When you do log on, check and see if a GPS room is up before heading into a public room. We need to do our best to play with members of the clan and also to invite members of the clan into our rooms when there is spots available. (check the UTD gamertags section for a complete list of gamertags)

3. We do not restrict weapons. If it is in the game then it is playable. Each member paid for the game with his or her own money and should be allowed to play with whatever weapon they see fit. The only exception is when we possibly have a shotguns or pistols only game going on. Also, keep in mind to use common sense and try to use the weapons as realistic as possible. Example being, if you and another player are engaged in close quarter combat and you have a grenade launcher of some sorts. Don't use it just to get the kill at the expense of killing yourself.

4. Never spawn camp, Period! If you find yourself in the other teams spawn, run out of it immediately! It’s no fun when every time you spawn, someone’s sitting there waiting for an easy kill!

5. Don’t jump from one team to another based on team strength or weapon availability. If you come into the room, stay where you are unless moving will make it more fair. If you do want to be on a particular team, utilize common courtesy and ask if anyone minds before hopping over.

6. Friendly fire should always be set to “On” (when available). Friendly kills will happen. It’s part of the game. What we all need to do is learn how to communicate better, save the chit-chat for the lobby, and try to “Not” take the shot sometimes if we are uncertain. Again, think about the other person before yourself. We have all had this issue, especially snipers at long distance. Accidents will happen, let’s just all do our part to decrease them.

Again, These are just guidelines. If for someone reason you feel that you may be doing something that is questionable, stop and ask. All we want here is to have a pleasant gaming atmosphere for all, and all to have fun!
